"KHAKI TOWN" Adapted Screenplay

 

I would like to express my appreciation

at having had the opportunity

to write an adapted screenplay

of Judy Nunn's book, "Khaki Town".

It was a joy to transfer Judy's work

into the format for film.

She has an innate sense of what to include,

being an actress herself,

attuned to not only good dialogue,

but, to descriptive background information 

which sets the scene.

Thank you, Judy.

For your story.

And insights into that world.

I would like to add,

on a more serious note,

that anyone claiming to, or, 

giving the impression that,

they have written this screenplay,

is making a false claim.

I have given it to Mel Gibson

to use as he sees fit.

The man assuming the position as

understudy / body double to Mel Gibson,

is NOT in charge of this project,

and if he is giving the impression that he,

Rosalind Ross, 

or, anyone else fronting for either of them 

has written it,

or done anything else that I have done,

then they are making a false claim.
